MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Store and locate all vehicles on site between the yard and the auction hall
- Line and lot vehicles for auction, ensuring they are presentable for auction
- Site, transfer, and release vehicles in line with G3 Remarketing Gating Process
- Image vehicles in line with current G3 systems in place
- Maintain a safe driving standard and adhere to on site speed limits
- Ensure health and safety standards and practices are adhered to in the yard and auction hall so that near misses, accidents to vehicles and customers are prevented
- Carry out any other tasks in the yard department to ensure that operational requirements are met
- Manage, control, and monitor vehicle movement on site
- Jump starting vehicles when required
- Maintain good housekeeping in the yard and work areas at all times
- Ensuring upkeep of all tools, property, and services
- Working closely with Management, Transport, and other departments
- Taking written and verbal instructions
PRINCIPAL CHALLENGES/DIFFICULTIES
- Remain accustomed or open to working in all-weather conditions
- Have good organisational & communication skills
- Work under pressure to ensure smooth running of site and auction
- Ability to deal with demanding customers
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Experience within the automotive industry, would be an advantage, however full training will be given
- Good numeracy and literacy skills
- Experience of using handheld electronic devices is essential full training will be provided on using company specific programmes
- A full UK driving licence with no more than 3 points is essential due to the movement of vehicles

- Flexibility, as the position may require work extra hours or occasional weekends and bank holidays depending on volume
- Excellent communication skills with colleagues and customers alike
- Maintain relationships by providing high levels of customer satisfaction
- Initiative to manage your own workload and a willingness to help in other areas of the business when required
