Sandgrown Care is opening a brand-new, two-bedded children's home in St Annes, providing therapeutic care and support for children and young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties (EBD).

About the Role
As a Residential Support Worker, you will:
- Provide high-quality care and emotional support to children and young people.
- Build positive, trusting relationships that promote safety, stability and wellbeing.
- Support children with daily routines, education, appointments and recreational activities.
- Encourage independence, confidence and positive life skills.
- Use therapeutic, trauma-informed approaches to support children who have experienced adversity.
- Maintain accurate records and contribute to care planning.
- Work as part of a supportive team to create a warm, homely environment.
- Promote safeguarding and follow all policies and procedures to ensure children's safety.
- Participate in training, supervision and continuous professional development.
About You
We're looking for someone who is:

Essential Requirements
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Right to work in the UK.
- Willingness to work shifts, weekends and sleep-ins.
- Ability to obtain an Enhanced DBS check.
Desirable
- Experience working with children or young people in residential care, education or a similar setting.
- Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or willingness to work towards it).
- Knowledge of safeguarding, attachment and trauma-informed practice.
