Responsibilities
- Support the Sales Manager in developing and implementing sales strategies to achieve organisational targets.
- Supervise daily sales operations, ensuring team members meet their individual and collective objectives.
- Lead, motivate, and manage the sales team through effective coaching, training, and performance management.
- Oversee merchandising activities to optimise product presentation and maximise sales opportunities.
- Maintain excellent communication with clients, providing exceptional phone etiquette and customer service.
- Organise schedules, coordinate team tasks, and manage administrative duties related to sales operations.
- Monitor stock levels, assist with inventory management, and ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
- Analyse sales data to identify trends, forecast future performance, and recommend improvements.
- Foster a positive team environment that encourages professional development and organisational loyalty.
Experience
- Proven management experience within retail or sales environments, including supervising teams.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently.
- Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in administrative tasks.
- Demonstrable experience in merchandising, sales management, or retail management roles.
- Effective communication skills in English; multilingual or bilingual capabilities are advantageous.
- Prior experience in team management and supervising staff is essential.
- Familiarity with organisational tools such as CRM systems or point-of-sale software is preferred.
- Ability to demonstrate time management skills whilst working under pressure in a fast-paced setting.
