Teasses Estate is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Seasonal Gardener to join our team and help maintain our extensive gardens to a high standard throughout the summer season.
This hands-on role offers the opportunity to work across a variety of different areas of the estate, including our walled garden, formal gardens, and woodland gardens. The successful candidate will assist with the general upkeep and presentation of these spaces to a high standard.
This position would be particularly well suited to a local school leaver, college /university student, or anyone with a keen interest in gardening who is looking to gain practical experience working in a professional horticultural environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting with the maintenance of the estate's gardens and grounds
- Weeding, planting, and carrying out general gardening tasks
- Supporting the set up and break down of our events venue
- Helping to ensure all areas are presented to a high standard
- Working safely and effectively as part of the team
About You:
- A keen interest in gardening or working outdoors
- Enthusiastic, reliable, and hardworking
- Willing to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Able to undertake physical outdoor work
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Previous gardening experience is desirable but not essential
Pay: £8.00-£12.71 per hour
