We are seeking an Industrial Blaster/Painter to join our team at our facility. In this role, you will prepare and apply finishes to various metal fabrications. These coatings vary based on the needs of each customer. Any experience you may have as a blasting operator or using airless spray is a major plus.
Applicants should feel comfortable performing physical tasks in various weather conditions.
Industrial Painter Duties and Responsibilities
- Set up blast pot and nozzle equipment
- Abrasive blast surfaces or use power tool to remove rust as necessary
- Use jet washer equipment
- Mix and apply paint or other coatings
- Use a brush, roller to coat areas as necessary
- Notify manager of inventory needs
- Follow all safety regulations
- Work at height
- Work in confined spaces
There will be an occasional requirement to works extended hours, weekends so flexibility is essential.
Full training will be provided to an ideal candidate.
Pay rates are negotiable depending on the experience.
