Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and professional Bar Staff to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and delivering excellent customer service in a lively bar environment. Responsibilities
- Serve drinks efficiently and accurately to customers in a friendly manner
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area at all times
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards and responsible alcohol service policies
- Take orders from customers and provide recommendations when appropriate
- Handle cash and card transactions accurately using the POS system
- Assist in setting up and closing down the bar at the start and end of shifts
- Monitor customer behaviour to promote a safe environment
- Restock bar supplies as needed to ensure smooth operation during busy periods
Requirements
- Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant environments is desirable but not essential, as training will be provided
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service is advantageous
- Strong serving skills with excellent customer service abilities
- Good organisational skills and the ability to manage time effectively during busy periods
- Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately
- Ability to work well within a team and communicate effectively with colleagues and customers
- A friendly, professional attitude with a genuine interest in creating a positive guest experience
