Job Overview
Castle House Care Home in Torrington is a 26 bedded care home close to outstanding beautiful countryside and local amenities.
We are looking for an experienced day care assistant that has at least 12 months experience and preferably hold an NVQ Level 2 in health & social care - on offer is a 36 hour contract. You will play a vital role in our close-knit care team ensuring our residents receive exceptional care and support. You will assist with their daily routines, promote independence and ensure their overall health and happiness are paramount. You must have a kind heart, be flexible and have empathy which in turn will make a difference to their lives.
Shifts are: 07.30 - 20.00 / 07.30 - 14.00 / 13.45 - 20.00 over a 7 day period working every other weekend.
An enhanced DBS disclosure is required, expense will be met by the employer.
Current rate of pay : £12.71 per hour.
