Global Payroll Specialist
Location: Bristol (Hybrid) - 3 days in office

The purpose of the Global Payroll Specialist is to join our global team and provide administration to payroll on a day to day basis and to support on payroll projects. This role will provide global payroll assistance for 13 countries, support in our global annual benefits renewal process, along with monthly benefits and payroll, employee lifecycle documentation for monthly payroll and working with the finance department to process payments.
This role will also support on all compliance actives in the Payroll team. Extracting and downloading benefit reports and manage the global payroll inbox, escalating queries when required. The role will offer excellent customer service standards to the global business.
The role will have a mixture of pro-active and re-active tasks, ranging from logging benefits requests and data, responding to employee queries, maintaining our Payroll databases and benefits portals, data tracking and document development.
Requirements
- Global monthly payroll support to include new starters, leavers, benefit changes, etc.
- Support with tracking of the global employee data and changes in relation to the annual and monthly benefits
- Update and maintain the global benefits portals
- Prepare monthly payroll data for submission
- Assisting with Year End transactions (P60’s, PBIK’s, etc)
- Adheres to payroll policies and procedures and complies with relevant law
- Updating the system on a daily basis, in line with GDPR
- Monitoring the payroll inbox and responding to queries, escalating when required
- Any other duties as required
Essential Skills
- Good working knowledge and experience in payroll
- Strong Excel (V look Up & Pivot Tables)/Microsoft capabilities
- Able to work in a fast paced and constantly changing business environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills essential
- Excellent accuracy with data input and attention to detail
- Experience in working effectively to meet deadlines
- Experience of UK pension administration within the payroll function
- Fluent in written and spoken English
- Excellent organisational skills
- Previous experience of PAYE
Desirable Skills
- Working knowledge of current legislation
- Working knowledge of ADP systems along with IRIS Staffology
- Working knowledge of Zest/Employee Navigator benefit portals
- Working knowledge of Sage People or Workable HRIS
Experience, training & qualifications
- Previous payroll/benefit administration experience (Essential)
- Good standard of formal education (A level preferred)
- Above average literacy and numeracy
- CIPP or equivalent qualification desirable
