We are seeking a dedicated and professional Dental Nurse/Receptionist to join our friendly dental practice. Responsibilities
- Greet patients warmly and professionally upon arrival, ensuring a positive experience from the outset
- Assist with patient care, including preparing treatment rooms and supporting dental procedures as required
- Manage appointment scheduling, confirmations, and rescheduling to optimise practice efficiency
- Handle patient enquiries both face-to-face and via telephone, demonstrating excellent communication skills
- Maintain accurate patient records using IT systems, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with data protection regulations
- Support the dental team with administrative tasks such as filing, invoicing, and stock management
- Ensure the practice environment remains clean, organised, and compliant with health and safety standards
- Provide assistance with infection control procedures in line with current guidelines
Experience
- GDC registration and Previous experience as dental nurse essential
- Strong patient care skills with a compassionate approach towards individuals of all ages
- Proficiency in English, both spoken and written, to communicate effectively with patients and team members
- Basic IT skills to manage electronic health records and appointment systems efficiently
- Excellent organisational skills to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail
- Effective communication skills to liaise confidently with patients and colleagues alike

Pay: £13.50-£14.50 per hour
