Shuttering Carpenters Required – Sizewell C, Suffolk
Ballycommon is currently recruiting experienced Shuttering Carpenters to join one of the UK's largest infrastructure projects at Sizewell C.
This is an excellent opportunity to secure long-term work on a major civils project, working within a professional team committed to delivering high-quality construction safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Construct, assemble and dismantle formwork for reinforced concrete structures
- Read and interpret technical drawings, specifications and construction plans
- Set out and align formwork accurately to project requirements
- Safely operate hand tools, power tools and specialist carpentry equipment
- Work closely with Steel Fixers, Groundworkers, Concrete Operatives and Site Supervisors
- Carry out work to a high standard while meeting programme deadlines
- Follow all site health, safety and environmental procedures at all times
Requirements
- Valid Blue or Gold CSCS Skilled Worker Card (essential)
- NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Formwork/Carpentry (preferred)
- Previous experience as a Shuttering Carpenter on major civils or infrastructure projects
- Ability to confidently read and work from construction drawings
- Strong understanding of site health and safety procedures
- Right to work in the UK
- Sizewell C or HPC induction preferred but not essential.
