At inspiring vet care, our people are at the heart of everything we do. As the UK’s number one vet care provider, we're trusted with the care of over 2 million animals, delivering our purpose of healthier animals and happier owners.
Yorkshire Vets are seeking an experienced veterinary leader to join our hospital as Director of Clinical Services. This is an exciting opportunity for a clinically driven individual who is passionate about developing teams, advancing standards of patient care and shaping the future direction of a busy multi-disciplinary veterinary hospital.
As Director of Clinical Services, you will provide clinical leadership across the hospital, working closely with the Director of Practice and senior leadership team. You will be responsible for maintaining exceptional clinical standards, supporting and developing veterinary colleagues, driving quality improvement initiatives and ensuring outstanding patient and client care.
At the heart of our practice group is Thornbury, our RCVS-accredited veterinary hospital and clinical hub, providing advanced support to our five branch surgeries and ensuring continuity of care for patients across the wider practice. As the host site for Vets Now Bradford, we are able to offer seamless 24/7 patient care, allowing cases to remain within a familiar setting and giving our teams access to a truly varied and rewarding caseload. We have a team of 16 vets which include certificate holders in surgery, ophthalmology and dermatology. We have a highly skilled nursing team and a collaborative culture that encourages continuous learning and professional development.
Thornbury is exceptionally well equipped, with facilities including laparoscopic surgery equipment, ultrasound, endoscopy, dental radiography, a dedicated orthopaedic theatre and Phovia light therapy.
Yorkshire Vets is ideally located across Leeds and Bradford, offering the perfect blend of vibrant city living and easy access to beautiful countryside. Whether you enjoy bustling cafés, shopping, live music and sporting events, or prefer exploring the Yorkshire Dales, Nidderdale and the stunning Yorkshire coastline, there is something for everyone.
This role offers the opportunity to make a genuine impact on the future direction of the hospital, influencing both clinical excellence and team development.
