Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Science, English and Math Tutor to support students in achieving their academic goals. This role involves working with learners of various ages, including children, and providing personalised guidance to enhance their understanding and confidence across key subjects. Duties
- Deliver engaging and tailored tutoring sessions in Science, English, and Maths to students of different age groups and ability levels
- Assess individual student needs and adapt teaching methods accordingly
- Support students with homework, exam preparation, and coursework assignments
- Foster a positive learning environment that encourages questions and active participation
- Track student progress and provide constructive feedback to parents or guardians as required
- Develop customised lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and student goals
- Utilise various teaching resources and tools to enhance understanding of complex concepts
- Maintain organised records of tutoring sessions and student achievements
Skills
- Proven experience in tutoring or teaching, particularly in Science, English, or Maths
- Ability to work effectively with children and young learners
- Experience in special education or working with students who have additional learning needs is desirable
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain concepts clearly and patiently
- Organised approach to planning lessons and tracking progress
