Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Science, English and Math Tutor to support students in achieving their academic goals. Duties
- Deliver engaging and tailored tutoring sessions in Science, English, and Maths to students of different age groups and ability levels
- Assess individual student needs and adapt teaching methods accordingly
- Support students with homework, exam preparation, and coursework assignments
- Foster a positive learning environment that encourages questions and active participation
- Track student progress and provide constructive feedback to parents or guardians as required
- Develop customised lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and student goals
- Utilise various teaching resources and tools to enhance understanding of complex concepts
- Maintain organised records of tutoring sessions and student achievements
Skills
- Proven experience in tutoring or teaching, particularly in Science, English, or Maths
- Ability to work effectively with children and young learners
- Experience in special education or working with students who have additional learning needs is desirable
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain concepts clearly and patiently
- Organised approach to planning lessons and tracking progress
