We are looking for an experienced Warehouse Operative/Forklift Truck Operative to join our team at Costessey, Norwich. This is working on a weekly shift pattern of 6am - 2pm / 2pm - 10pm.
The Warehouse Operative is responsible for operating a Forklift Truck to move, locate, relocate, load, stack and count product both inside and outside of our warehouse including loading and unloading lorries, trailors and containers. The Warehouse Operative is also responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the vehicle and general warehouse maintenance.
In addition, you will be responsible for basic administration duties in relation to vehicle loading/unloading and stock control to include scanning and completing paperwork by hand.
The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar role and hold a full valid B1 Counterbalance FLT licence. You must be flexible to cover holidays and work overtime, have a positive attitude, be reliable and can work both independently and as part of a team. You should be proactive, identifying opportunities for improvement, and willing to go the extra mile. We value mutual respect and professionalism.
