Responsibilities
- Assist with loading and unloading materials using forklifts and manual handling techniques
- Maintain yard organization by sorting, stacking, and storing materials safely and efficiently
- Conduct routine inspections of yard equipment, including forklift, shunter, ensuring safety standards are met
- Support general maintenance tasks around the yard to keep the area clean, safe, and operational
Requirements
- Valid forklift certification or experience operating forklifts safely
- Ability to handle materials manually and perform heavy lifting safely
- Basic mechanical knowledge helpful for equipment maintenance and troubleshooting
- Strong work ethic with a focus on safety, efficiency, and teamwork
- Driving licence is a must
