We are seeking an enthusiastic and personable Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team. Mainly weekends and once/twice during the week
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages in accordance with standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Greet guests warmly and take orders efficiently, ensuring prompt service.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and work surfaces.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations at all times.
- Manage cash transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system.
- Monitor guest behaviour to promote responsible drinking and handle any issues professionally.
- Restock bar supplies as needed to ensure smooth operation throughout shifts.
- Collaborate with team members to deliver seamless service during busy periods.
Skills
- Proven experience in hospitality or restaurant environments is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards and responsible serving practices.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to engage confidently with diverse customers.
- Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
- Time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively during busy periods.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining a friendly demeanour.
- Organised with a keen eye for detail to ensure high standards of cleanliness and presentation.
