Cafe and Shop Assistant
About us:
Foyers Community Stores Ltd
Foyers Community Stores & Café—formerly known as Foyers Stores and Waterfall Café—has been at the heart of the local community for over 125 years, serving residents and visitors in the village of Foyers and the surrounding area.
The community officially took ownership of the business following a long and dedicated process to secure its future. This successful community buyout was made possible through funding from the Scottish Land Fund and the Stratherrick and Foyers Community Trust, ensuring that this vital local service, including the Post Office, was saved from permanent closure.
The project was led by local charity Boleskine Community Care, who secured funding and guided the acquisition process. The charity now owns the building and leases it to Foyers Community Stores & Café, enabling the business to continue operating sustainably at the heart of the village.
