The Role
As a Scaffolding Labourer, you will support our scaffolders with the safe erection, alteration, and dismantling of scaffolding on a range of commercial, industrial, and domestic projects. You will play an important role in ensuring sites operate safely and efficiently while maintaining high standards of housekeeping.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist scaffolders with the erection, alteration, and dismantling of scaffolding.
- Load, unload, and transport scaffolding materials safely around site.
- Keep work areas clean, organised, and free from hazards.
- Carry out manual handling duties safely and efficiently.
- Follow instructions from supervisors and scaffolders.
- Comply with all company health and safety policies and site regulations.
- Work effectively as part of a team to meet project deadlines.
- Help maintain company vehicles, tools, and equipment where required.
What We're Looking For
Essential:
- Previous experience working on construction sites is preferred but not essential.
- Good level of physical fitness and willingness to carry out manual work.
- Strong work ethic with a positive, can-do attitude.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team.
- Good awareness of health and safety on construction sites.
- Valid CSCS Labourer Card.
Desirable:
- Previous experience working with a scaffolding company.
- Full UK driving licence.
- CISRS COTS (Operative Training Scheme).
- DBS certificate (for projects where required).
