Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, beers, wines, and non-alcoholic options, with precision and flair
- Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner, providing excellent customer service at all times
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety standards and hygiene regulations
- Manage cash transactions accurately using POS (Point of Sale) systems and handle payments efficiently
- Monitor guest consumption responsibly, ensuring compliance with legal drinking age laws and responsible serving policies
- Restock bar supplies regularly to ensure smooth operation during busy periods
- Collaborate with team members to create a welcoming atmosphere that encourages repeat visits
- Qualifications
- Proven experience working as a bar person or in a similar hospitality role within a restaurant or bar setting
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and responsible alcohol serving procedures
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and calculating drink recipes
- Demonstrated ability to serve guests promptly while maintaining high standards of hospitality
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Prior experience in hospitality environments that emphasize customer satisfaction and safety is highly desirable
