Here is an opportunity for someone working in a kennel, grooming or dog day care to make their next step up the career ladder to a dog care role with more responsibility and seniority.
We are looking for an experienced dog handler that has worked in kennels, dog day care or grooming salons. The roles will include walking the dogs loose in groups in an enclosed woodland play area and play supervision at the creche. It will involve organising the where abouts of dogs, transporting them between our centres and our canine hotels and ensuring their safety, health, welfare, and wellbeing. Maintaining all security protocols and creating a calm enjoyable atmosphere for the dogs. It will involve organising the activities and events we run everyday at creche and helping with running and photographing them.
We are looking for someone to help with the cleanliness of the dogs, cleaning and clearing up behind them. We wish for them to be able to control a group of dogs together by reading their body language and behaving appropriately to effectively manage a group of dogs. We need someone who will be able to drive our vans, with a clean driving licence, these are no larger than a normal car driving licence.
You must be able to work in sociable environment but also work independently on tasks and follow instruction to get jobs done.
Pay: £12.71-£14.02 per hour
