Parable Games is the UK-based TTRPG behind SHIVER, ION Heart, and Don't Play This Game.
We are looking for a freelance Graphic Designer to work with us for the next 12 months on our upcoming projects.
The role is for two days a week and will help us level up our books and promotional imagery.
What you'll be doing
- Bring our rulebooks, supplements, and accessories to life through interior layout and typesetting, both within our existing templates and by building new ones.
- Building striking marketing imagery for crowdfunding campaigns, social channels, newsletters, retail, and trade materials
- Creating production-ready files for print and digital release
- Working closely with our creative and marketing teams to keep everything on-brand and on-schedule
What we're looking for
- Confident with Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator; experience with other Adobe platforms is a benefit
- Experience working on physical products
- Comfortable working to a brief and to deadline, with minimal supervision
- An interest in tabletop games is a bonus!
- A portfolio showing layout work and marketing/promotional design
How this works
This is a contract for services, not employment. You'd be engaged as a self-employed contractor, responsible for your own tax and National Insurance, using your own equipment and software. You choose how and when you deliver the work within agreed deadlines, and you're free to take on other clients alongside us. There's no holiday pay, pension, or sick pay attached, and the engagement is for a fixed 12-month term. Payment is monthly against invoice.
Pay: £27,000.00 per year
