Job Summary
Due to new contracts JP Construction are seeking to recruit an experienced HGV Class 1 tipper driver to join our small team based at Haslingden. The main role is delivering aggregates to the brick industry and concrete yards around the North West, while ensuring timely deliveries. Start and finish times can vary depending on the workload for the day. This is a full time role Monday - Friday. Salary is dependent upon experience.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate HGV Class 1 & Class 2 tipper trucks to transport materials
to designated locations around the North West
- Perform pre-vehicle and post-vehicle inspections to ensure
vehicle safety and compliance
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for each
load
- Keep your truck clean and tidy
Qualifications
- HGV Class 1 & Class 2 Licence - Essential (2 years minimum)
- Valid CPC Card - Essential
- Need to be able to get up in a morning and turn up five days
a week - Essential
- Adhere to all road safety regulations and traffic laws while on
the road - Essential
- Good team player - Essential
- MPQC (Site Safety Awareness) – Preferable
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £40,000.00-£44,000.00 per year
