We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Years Practitioner to join our childcare team. Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging activities that promote children's learning, development, and social skills in accordance with early years frameworks.
- Provide high-quality care, ensuring the safety, health, and well-being of all children at all times.
- Support children’s emotional development through positive interactions and encouragement.
- Maintain accurate records of children's progress, behaviour, and daily activities.
- Foster a welcoming environment that encourages curiosity, independence, and confidence among children.
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and external professionals to support individualised learning plans.
- Manage daily routines such as meal times, nap times, and hygiene practices efficiently.
- Uphold safeguarding policies and procedures to ensure a secure environment for children.
Skills
- Proven experience working with children in a nursery or early years setting.
- Strong management and leadership abilities to guide both children and team members effectively.
- Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and best practices.
- Ability to organise activities that are educational, fun, and age-appropriate.
- Good organisational skills to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing needs within the childcare environment.

Pay: £27,800.00-£31,000.00 per year
