Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Workshop Assistant to join our team! In this role, you will support daily workshop operations, assist with product merchandising, and ensure smooth communication between team members and clients. Your enthusiasm and organizational skills will help keep our workshop running efficiently while providing excellent service to our customers.
Duties
- Assist with the organization and setup of workshop tools, materials, and workstations to ensure safety and efficiency
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients in multiple languages, including English and Spanish
- Provide friendly phone support, answering inquiries, scheduling appointments, and upselling products or services
- Maintain a clean, organized workspace by following proper safety protocols and time management practices
- Support the team during workshops by preparing materials, assisting with measurements, and ensuring deadlines are metExperience
- Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly convey information to clients and team members
- Basic math skills for measurements, inventory counts, and pricing calculations
- Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in merchandising or retail environments is a plus but not required
- Ability to demonstrate good phone etiquette when interacting with customers or vendors
- Time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively throughout the workday
