The PMO Lead sits at the heart of the organisation's change delivery function, providing the
structure, oversight, and insight needed to keep the project and programme portfolio on track.
The role combines hands-on PMO administration with strategic portfolio governance — from
maintaining lifecycle documentation, templates, and toolkits through to owning the executive
dashboard and providing senior leadership with a clear, accurate picture of portfolio health at all
times.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain the PMO portfolio, project lifecycle documentation, and associated templates and
toolkits.
- Conduct regular health checks and post-implementation reviews to drive continuous
improvement.
- Maintain a consolidated view of the entire project and programme portfolio, providing
accurate and timely status reporting to senior leadership.
- Identify interdependencies, conflicts, and risks across the portfolio and escalate as
appropriate.
- Own and maintain the PMO dashboard, providing executive-level reporting on portfolio
health, milestones, risks, issues, and benefits realisation.
- Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) across all projects and programmes.
- Manage resource allocation and capacity planning across the portfolio, working closely
with department heads and project managers.
- Maintain the portfolio-level risk register and issue log, ensuring timely escalation and
resolution.
- Manage the day-to-day administration of the PMO function, including document
management and tooling.

Pay: £45,000.00-£55,000.00 per year
