We are seeking a talented Senior Electronics Engineer to join our clients Systems Engineering team, contributing to the development of next-generation RF and communications products.
Reporting to the Head of Systems Engineering, you will play a key role in the design and development of advanced analogue and digital electronic systems.
Working in a multidisciplinary environment, you will collaborate with RF, software, and firmware engineers to deliver high-performance solutions across sectors including telecommunications, space, defence, and high-altitude platforms.

- Design and develop analogue and digital circuits, including mixed-signal systems

Develop signal conditioning circuits, filters, amplifiers, and power supply modules

Design digital systems using microprocessors, ADCs, DACs, and associated logic

Produce detailed specifications, simulations, and support component selection

Capture schematics and define PCB requirements, including materials and stack-ups
- Work with interfaces such as PCIe, USB, Ethernet, CAN bus, I²C, and SPI

Troubleshoot hardware and communication issues

Perform system integration, verification, and validation testing

Produce test specifications, reports, and reliability assessments
- Collaborate across hardware, software, firmware, and RF teams

Participate in and lead design reviews to mitigate technical risks

Support product introduction and fault diagnosis activities

Manage component obsolescence and recommend alternatives

Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry standards
- Conduct thermal analysis, MTBF calculations, and tolerance analysis

Ensure designs meet performance, cost, quality, and manufacturability targets

You will bring:

Degree in Electronic Engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent experience

Strong experience in analogue and digital circuit design at component level

Experience with schematic capture and PCB design tools (Altium Designer desirable)

Understanding of EMC/EMI design and testing principles

Hands-on experience with lab equipment (oscilloscopes, multimeters, spectrum analysers, logic analysers)
- Experience in RF or microwave electronics

Knowledge of high-volume manufacturing and surface mount technologies
