- Loading, unloading, securing, and handling gas cylinders correctly using appropriate manual handling techniques and equipment, in line with health and safety regulations
- Accurately tracking and recording cylinder movements, quantities, and batch information to support full asset traceability
- Ensuring all cylinders are stored, transported, and delivered in compliance with ADR regulations, company procedures, and relevant health and safety legislation
- Checking cylinder condition during handling, identifying and segregating any damaged, out-of-test, or non-conforming cylinders
- Maintaining accurate delivery documentation, proof of delivery records, and vehicle logs
- Engaging with customers in a professional and courteous manner, addressing any queries or concerns on site
- Adhering to all site-specific safety rules when visiting customer premises
- Participating in safety audits, inspections, toolbox talks, and incident reporting as required
- Keeping the vehicle clean, organised, and roadworthy at all times
What we're looking for:
- A valid Class 2 licence with current ADR certification
- Valid Driver CPC
- At least 3 years' experience driving Class 2 vehicles with a clean safety record
- Solid understanding of ADR regulations and the safe transportation of hazardous goods
- Practical knowledge of manual handling best practices, particularly in relation to gas cylinders
- Familiarity with daily vehicle inspection procedures and defect reporting
