Wilco Motor Spares Ltd are the leading independent car parts, bikes and accessories group in East Anglia. Wilco Motor Spares has been serving the motorist for over 60 years and are still family owned and run.
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join us on 27-35 hour per week contract, as a Sales Assistant based at our Cambridge Branch!
Working Hours:
- Friday: 8.30am - 5.30pm
- Saturday: 8.30am - 5.30pm
- Sunday: 10am - 1pm
- Monday: 8.30am - 5.30pm
- Optional days maybe available
- Opportunities to cover staff holidays are also available
The role:
This is a varied position within a busy store, supporting both retail and workshop activities. A key part of the role will be preparing pedal bikes and electric bikes so they are road ready.
Experience & Skill:
- Motor trade experience preferred but not essential
- Cycle building or cycle mechanic experience preferred
- A strong passion and interest in cars, bikes or the motor trade is essential
- Full training can be provided for the right candidate who demonstrates enthusiasm and the willingness to learn

Duties:
- Taking payments at the checkout point
- answering the phones
- administration duties
- driving sales
- talking to suppliers and serving our customers
- make up number plates and mix paint - training will be given
