Duties
- Lead the development and enhancement of complex software applications using languages such as JavaScript, Java, C#, Python, C++, Ruby on Rails, and C.
- Design and implement scalable APIs and RESTful services to facilitate seamless integration across platforms.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications and actionable development plans.
- Maintain version control using tools like GitHub, SVN, and Git, ensuring code quality and proper documentation.
- Optimize application performance by leveraging cloud services such as AWS and Azure, while managing databases like MySQL and SQL Server.
- Conduct code reviews, mentor junior developers, and promote best practices in software development and front-end engineering.
- Develop automated testing procedures to ensure high-quality deliverables and troubleshoot issues efficiently across Linux and Windows environments.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in software development with proficiency in JavaScript, Java, C#, Python, C++, Ruby on Rails, and C.
- Strong understanding of front-end development frameworks and API design principles.
- Hands-on experience with version control systems including GitHub, SVN, and Git.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure for application deployment and management.
- Knowledge of relational databases like MySQL and SQL Server; experience with database optimization is a plus.
- Experience working in Linux environments; familiarity with REST APIs and application integration is essential.
Pay: £85,000.00 per year
