Job Description:
O'Toole International Logistics are seeking an experienced and reliable Warehouse Picker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in warehouse operations, demonstrating a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. As a Warehouse Picker, you will be responsible for accurately picking, packing, and organizing products, ensuring stock levels are accurate, and supporting inventory management within a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick and pack products according to customer orders or stock needs, ensuring all items are selected in the correct quantity and condition.
- Perform regular stock counts to maintain inventory accuracy and report any discrepancies or issues to the Warehouse Supervisor/Manager.
- Efficiently update the warehouse management system (WMS) to reflect real-time stock levels and movements, including logging product returns, stock adjustments, and new stock entries.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily goals and ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Work independently to meet deadlines, ensuring orders are picked, packed, and ready for shipment by designated deadlines.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to all warehouse safety protocols and guidelines.
- Assist in unloading and storing incoming shipments, ensuring products are placed in the correct locations for easy retrieval.
- Help with other warehouse duties as required, including organizing shelves, labeling products, and supporting inventory audits.
Requirements:
- At least 3 years of experience working as a warehouse picker or in a similar warehouse role.
- Proven ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and high accuracy in picking and packing orders.
- Ability to update and manage warehouse management systems (WMS) and other inventory tracking tools.
- Reliable and punctual, with a strong work ethic and commitment to meeting deadlines.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Previous experience with stock counting, order picking, and maintaining inventory is highly preferred.
- Experience with forklifts or other warehouse machinery
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £13.24-£13.57 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
