Duties
- Provide personal care to clients, including assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.
- Support clients in completing daily tasks such as meal preparation, medication reminders, and light household chores.
- Develop and follow personalized care plans to meet each individual’s unique needs and preferences.
- Maintain clear communication with clients, their families, and healthcare professionals to ensure consistent and effective care.
- Use IT systems to document care activities accurately and update client records regularly.
- Assist with transportation when necessary, including driving clients to appointments or social activities.
- Promote a safe environment by adhering to health and safety guidelines and reporting any concerns promptly.
Skills
- Strong communication skills in English to effectively interact with clients, families, and team members.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team in a care home or home care setting.
- Experience with care plans and understanding of person-centered care approaches.
- Valid driving license and ability to drive confidently when required for home visits or outings.
- Basic IT skills for record keeping and documentation purposes.
- Compassionate attitude with excellent listening skills to understand clients’ needs fully.
- Good physical fitness to support mobility assistance and perform duties safely.

Pay: £12.71-£12.82 per hour
