About us
We're an independent dealer in Sheffield selling prestige and premium used cars, and the workshop behind it is ours rather than farmed out. Audi, BMW, Mercedes, Volvo, Land Rover, Tesla, MINI, Volkswagen and Porsche. We prepare everything we sell, service and repair for retail customers, and we're an RAC approved repairer. This means you could be anything from the brands above and also things such as Fords, Citroen and/or Hyundai's etc. We're booked three weeks solid and expanding, which is why we're hiring.
The work
- Diagnose and repair across a mixed stock list that changes every week, so no two weeks look the same
- Full servicing, brakes, cambelts, clutches, suspension, wet belts, timing chains and electrical and electronic faults
- Prepare cars for sale to a standard that survives a customer going over them on the forecourt
- Warranty repairs, including RAC claims, where your diagnosis and write-up have to stand up on their own
- MOT testing is done off site, if you hold a licence that is a bonus.
- Record what you did and how long it took, so jobs get costed properly
What we're looking for
The wage range on this job is wide on purpose. Where you land in it comes down to what you can actually do, so tell us what you hold and what you've worked on alongside your specialties and experience.
- Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, or time served with the work behind it
- MOT tester licence (not essential)
- Diagnostics across several manufacturers, including electronics and coding
- EV and hybrid qualification. We stock Teslas and hybrids and that side is only growing
- F-Gas air conditioning
- Clean, evidenced warranty reporting
- Full UK driving licence and your own hand tools. Specialist and diagnostic kit is ours
We do not have the expectation for someone to have all those qualities but that is the range we are looking for to add to our team.

Small team, so you get your own jobs and you're trusted with them. We'd sooner you took the time to get a diagnosis right than pushed it out of the door. We're locally trusted and our reviews alone often get us the work so we want someone to join the team who can help with the reputation.
Pay: £30,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
