We are currently looking for a compassionate and reliable Night Care Assistant to join our team on a temporary basis to cover Maternity Leave. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about providing high-quality, person-centred care to residents living with dementia, while enjoying the freedom to choose shifts that suit their schedule.
As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting residents with their day-to-day needs, promoting independence, dignity, and wellbeing in a safe and supportive environment tailored to dementia care.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist residents with personal care tasks such as washing, dressing, and grooming
- Provide specialist support to residents living with dementia, including reassurance and orientation
- Support with mobility and safe use of equipment
- Help residents with meals and hydration
- Provide emotional support, companionship, and meaningful engagement activities
- Maintain accurate care records
- Follow individual care plans and ensure all health and safety procedures are adhered to
What We’re Looking For
- A caring, patient, and empathetic nature
- Understanding of dementia care (desirable but not essential as training can be provided)
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexibly, including weekends and evenings
- Previous care experience is desirable but not essential
- A positive, can-do attitude and willingness to learn

- Competitive pay of £12.82 per hour
- Set Hours of 1930 - 0730 every Monday, Thursday and Saturday Night
