Site Group are a leading waterproofing specialist operating throughout the UK. Due to continued growth, we are looking to recruit an experienced and motivated Estimator to join our expanding team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong background in construction estimating who is looking to work on a wide variety of commercial, industrial and residential waterproofing projects independently.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate and competitive quotations and tenders.
- Review drawings, specifications and project documentation.
- Carry out site visits and surveys where required.
- Measure quantities and prepare cost estimates.
- Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing.
- Work closely with clients, architects, contractors and the operations team.
- Manage tender submissions and ensure deadlines are met.
- Assist with project handovers following successful bids.
The Ideal Candidate
- Previous experience as an Estimator within the construction industry (waterproofing or flat roofing experience preferred but not essential).
- Good understanding of construction methods and building materials.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Strong numerical, analytical and organisational skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Full UK driving licence.
