Night Care Assistant – Belmont House
Belmont House is looking for a kind, reliable and compassionate Night Care Assistant to join our team.
We are an elderly residential home that prides itself on providing person-centred care in a warm, homely and supportive environment. We are looking for someone who will help ensure our residents feel safe, comfortable, respected and cared for throughout the night.
As a Night Care Assistant, you will support residents with their care needs overnight, helping to maintain dignity, independence, comfort and wellbeing. This may include supporting with personal care, continence care, repositioning, pressure care, welfare checks, mobility, emotional reassurance and responding promptly to call bells.
Night care is a very important part of life at Belmont House. We are looking for someone who understands that night-time care should be calm, respectful and attentive, helping residents to feel settled and secure.
The successful applicant will work as part of the night team and will be expected to follow care plans, complete accurate records, report any concerns, and communicate clearly with senior staff and the day team.

Experience in care would be beneficial, but a caring nature, willingness to learn and the right attitude are just as important. Full support and guidance will be provided.
The role will include assisting residents throughout the night, completing regular checks, supporting safe moving and handling, maintaining cleanliness and comfort in residents’ rooms, and helping ensure the home remains calm, safe and well cared for overnight.
An Enhanced DBS check and suitable references will be required.
