Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Hygiene Assistant to join our team in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across our park. You will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness across the entire site, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for staff and visitors.
The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and eager to contribute to a well-organised workspace.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure that all public facilities, including washrooms and public areas, are clean and tidy across the park.
- Carry out daily cleaning tasks of washroom facilities and ensure adequate supplies of hygiene materials are stocked.
- Complete periodic deep cleans, including disinfecting areas as needed.
- Ensure venue areas are cleaned before and after events and weddings.
- To assist colleagues with the emptying of waste bins across the site.
- Carry out litter picking of the car park, and onsite in the park.
- Ensure the sandpit around the bouncy pillows is raked daily.
- Ensure stock levels are maintained and any stock or equipment required is requested in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate records for health and safety of chemicals used and tasks performed.
- Ensure that machinery and equipment is used as trained, reporting any faults or repairs needed to your manager.
- Ensure any suspicious activity and/or damages are reported to your manager.
- To carry out any other tasks as directed by your manager.

- An understanding of health and safety regulations in relation to hygiene and cleanliness.
Due to the nature of our business, you will be required to frequently walk around the park and its outer areas. A golf cart is available following training; however, it is not always possible to use this in your role. Particularly, during busy times and seasons.
There may be times where you are required to support in other departments / at events / weddings.
Pay: £10.85-£12.71 per hour
