The Role:
We are looking for an experienced Chef de Partie to join our team as soon as possible. The role will primarily focus on salads and preparation, working closely with our Head Chef to deliver high-quality dishes in a fast-paced environment. Mediterranean cooking experience and an understanding of the region’s flavours are highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and present salads and cold dishes to the highest standards
- Assist with general mise en place and kitchen preparation
- Ensure all ingredients are fresh, well-prepped, and stored correctly
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation in your section
- Work efficiently in a busy service while keeping attention to detail
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to maintain consistency and quality
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or similar role in a busy kitchen
- Knowledge of Mediterranean cuisine and flavour profiles
- Strong preparation and organisational skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and as part of a team
- Commitment to hygiene, safety, and kitchen standards

Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards
- Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner to meet service demands
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including equipment and utensils
- Adhere to food safety regulations and hygiene standards at all times
- Assist in meal preparation for special events or large parties as required
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation during service hours
- Monitor stock levels of ingredients and communicate needs to the kitchen manager
- Participate in training new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety practices
Qualifications
- Previous kitchen experience is essential, preferably in a restaurant setting
- Culinary experience with a solid understanding of cooking techniques and meal preparation
- Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
- A passion for cooking and creating high-quality dishes
