As Estate & Facilities Manager, you will be instrumental in maintaining and enhancing one of the region's finest hospitality destinations whilst ensuring the highest standards of safety, compliance and guest experience.
Responsibilities
Reporting to the Director & General Manager you will be responsible for the overall management, maintenance, presentation, safety and development of the Rutland Hall Hotel & Spa estate. Ensuring that all buildings, grounds, infrastructure and guest-facing facilities are maintained to the highest standards while providing a safe, compliant and exceptional environment for guests, colleagues and contractors.
As the lead for the estate and Health & Safety, the you will oversee maintenance operations, grounds, statutory compliance, some capital projects and contractor management, ensuring the estate supports the hotel's luxury standards, operational excellence and long-term strategic vision.
Our successful candidate will have:
- Proven experience in estate, facilities or property management within hospitality, luxury hotels, resorts, healthcare (including NHS), education, industrial or other large, complex estates.
- Strong technical knowledge of building maintenance, engineering services and infrastructure.
- Experience leading maintenance and grounds teams.
- Excellent knowledge of UK Health & Safety legislation and statutory compliance.
- Strong project management and contractor management experience.
- Budget management and commercial awareness.
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Have flexibility to work evenings, weekends and bank holidays
