Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of grilled dishes according to established recipes and standards
- Ensure all food is cooked to the correct temperature and presented attractively
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the grill station, adhering to food safety regulations
- Assist in meal preparation, including chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients as needed
- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and communicate supply needs to management
- Follow proper sanitation procedures during food handling and cleaning duties
- Serve dishes promptly while ensuring quality control and guest satisfaction
Experience
- Previous experience in food preparation or kitchen roles, preferably in a restaurant or similar setting
- Knowledge of cooking techniques specific to grilling and meat preparation
- Familiarity with food safety standards and best practices in a commercial kitchen
- Experience with meal preparation, including handling raw ingredients safely and efficiently
- Ability to work quickly under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff and servers
