Overview
We are looking for a motivated, customer-focused Car Sales Executive to join our growing dealership team. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven sales professional who is passionate about delivering outstanding customer service while achieving excellent earning potential through an attractive commission structure.
As a Car Sales Executive, you will guide customers through every stage of their vehicle purchase, from the initial enquiry to handover, ensuring a professional and enjoyable buying experience. You'll be confident in building relationships, identifying customer needs, and recommending the right vehicle and additional products.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome customers and build strong relationships by understanding their vehicle requirements.
- Present and demonstrate vehicles, explaining features and benefits tailored to each customer's needs.
- Manage enquiries via telephone, email, online platforms, and face-to-face interactions.
- Arrange and conduct vehicle test drives.
- Guide customers through the sales process from enquiry to vehicle delivery.
- Promote and sell finance packages, warranties, GAP insurance, paint protection, and other value-added products.
- Maintain accurate customer records using the dealership CRM system.
- Follow up with prospects and existing customers to maximise sales opportunities.
- Build and maintain relationships with business and fleet customers where applicable.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve individual and dealership sales targets.
- Ensure exceptional customer service is delivered throughout the entire sales journey.
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience in automotive sales, retail sales, or B2B sales is preferred.
- A confident, enthusiastic, and target-driven approach.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organisational and time management abilities.
- Experience using CRM systems is advantageous.
- Professional telephone manner and customer service skills.
- Ability to upsell finance and aftersales products.
- Multilingual candidates are welcome and encouraged to apply.
- A full UK driving licence is preferred.

Commission StructureRetail Vehicle Sales
- £150 commission for every retail vehicle sold.
Finance Bonus
- £100 for every finance agreement arranged.
Warranty Bonus
- £50 for every warranty sold.
Additional Products
- £25 for every GAP Insurance or Paint Protection product sold.
Monthly Volume Bonus
- 8 vehicles sold: £250 bonus
- 10 vehicles sold: £500 bonus
- 15 vehicles sold: £1,000 bonus
- 20+ vehicles sold: £2,000 bonus
Example Monthly Earnings
Selling 12 vehicles in one month could generate:
- Basic Salary: Approximately £2,167
- Vehicle Commission: £1,800
- Monthly Volume Bonus: £500
- Finance & Product Bonuses: Typically £500–£1,000
Estimated Monthly Earnings: £4,967–£5,467+
