NP Structures Ltd is looking for a reliable labourer or experienced steel erector to join our installation team on a project for NHBC in Barking.
The work involves assisting with the construction of steel-framed container canopies. This is a hands-on site role involving steel erection, fitting roof components, moving materials and supporting the installation team throughout the build.
Main duties include:
- Assisting with the erection of steel framework
- Installing brackets, rails, fixings and canopy components
- Handling and positioning materials safely
- Using basic hand and power tools
- Working from access equipment and at height
- Keeping the working area safe and tidy
- Following site instructions and health and safety procedures
Requirements:
- Valid CSCS card
- Previous construction site experience
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual work
- Comfortable working outdoors and at height
- Reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a team
- Own transport to the site is preferred
Previous steel erection, cladding, canopy or structural installation experience would be an advantage, although we would also consider a good labourer with the right attitude.
IPAF, PASMA, telehandler or other relevant site qualifications would be beneficial but are not essential.
There may be opportunities for further work on future NP Structures installation projects for the right person.
