Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and versatile Carpenter to join our team, bringing a proactive approach to construction, maintenance, and repair projects across various sites. Duties
- Perform welding tasks to join or repair metal components with precision and safety.
- Use hand tools and power tools effectively for carpentry, masonry, roofing, and general construction tasks.
- Conduct heavy lifting safely to move materials and equipment necessary for project completion.
- Apply mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and repair equipment or structural elements.
- Execute roofing installations or repairs with attention to detail and safety standards.
- Assist with masonry work including bricklaying, stone setting, and concrete finishing.
- Operate commercial vehicles for transportation of materials or personnel between job sites.
- Follow safety protocols rigorously during all activities to ensure a secure work environment.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while maintaining high quality standards.
Experience
- Proven experience in welding, carpentry, roofing, masonry, or related construction fields.
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and mechanical systems used in building projects.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting regularly while adhering to safety guidelines.
- Experience in commercial driving or operating large vehicles is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot and repair various equipment or structural issues.
- Knowledge of safety procedures related to roofing, masonry, heavy lifting, and construction sites.
- Prior experience working on diverse projects involving roofing, masonry, carpentry or general construction is highly valued.

Pay: £18.67-£27.22 per hour
