Role Overview
You will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and driving our pharmacy services. Working closely with our pharmacists and the wider healthcare team, you will handle both service delivery and operational support.
Key Responsibilities
- Service Delivery: Support and deliver Pharmacy First, New Medicine Service (NMS), and Discharge Medicines Service (DMS).
- Patient Consultations: Conduct clinical blood pressure checks, Ambulatory Blood Pressure Monitoring (ABPM), and contraception consultations.
- Operations: Manage service administration, maintain accurate records, and support daily pharmacy workflows.
- Performance: Proactively contribute to meeting service targets and expanding community healthcare access.
Candidate Requirements
- GPhC Registered: Current registration as a Pharmacy Technician / ACT is essential.
- Service Driven: An active interest in clinical service delivery within community pharmacy.
- Great Communicator: Excellent telephone manner and interpersonal skills.
- Organised: Strong administrative skills with a proactive, target-driven mindset.
- Experience: Previous experience with NHS pharmacy services is highly desirable (but not essential).
