Overview:
We are looking for an energetic, friendly, and experienced Full-Time Waiter/Waitress to join our team. The ideal candidate will have previous restaurant experience, strong communication skills, and a passion for providing excellent customer service. You will be responsible for delivering a great dining experience to our guests by providing attentive and efficient service in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years experience working as a waiter/waitress in a restaurant or hospitality environment
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends and holidays
- Strong customer service skills and friendly attitude
- Ability to work in a fast-paced restaurant environment
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
- Ability to handle orders accurately and use POS systems
- Professional appearance and positive attitude
- Passion for hospitality and delivering great guest experience
Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Present menus and explain menu items, specials, and steak cuts to guests
- Take accurate food and drink orders and enter them into the POS system
- Serve food and beverages in a timely and professional manner
- Ensure guests have an excellent dining experience and respond to requests promptly
- Check in with guests during the meal to ensure satisfaction and quality of service
- Maintain clean and organized tables and dining areas
- Work closely with the kitchen and bar team to ensure smooth service
- Process payments and handle cash/card transactions accurately
- Follow food safety, hygiene, and restaurant service standards
- Assist with opening and closing duties when required
- Maintain a positive attitude and professional appearance at all times
