Community Carer (Part-Time) — Family Care Agency
Join our warm, family-run care agency and make a real difference every day. We’re looking for compassionate Community Carers to support adults in their own homes, helping them live safely, independently, and with dignity.
What you’ll do
- Provide person-centred care in the community: companionship, personal care, medication prompts, meal prep, light housekeeping.
- Support with outings, appointments, and wellbeing checks.
- Build trusting relationships with clients and their families.
- Record care notes accurately and report any concerns promptly.
What we’re looking for
- A kind, patient, and reliable person with a genuine passion for helping others.
- A full UK driving licence and access to your own car.
- Previous care experience is helpful but not essential — we value the right attitude and will train you.

Typical hours and areas
- Community visits ranging from 30 minutes to 2 hours.
- Rota planned locally to minimise travel between calls.
Compliance
- Enhanced DBS check and two references required (we’ll help arrange this).
- Mandatory training and shadow shifts provided before you start.
Pay: £13.00-£14.00 per hour
