Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Supported Living Manager to lead and oversee the day-to-day operations of our supported living services. This role is vital in ensuring that individuals receiving support experience a safe, respectful, and empowering environment. As a Supported Living Manager, you will coordinate care delivery, supervise staff, and foster a positive community atmosphere that promotes independence and well-being for all residents. Your leadership will directly impact the quality of life for those in your care, making this role both rewarding and impactful.
Duties
- Lead and manage the supported living team, providing guidance, supervision, and support to ensure high standards of care are maintained.
- Develop, implement, and review personalized care plans tailored to each individual’s needs, including assistance with daily activities, medication management, and health monitoring.
- Oversee medication administration processes to ensure safety, accuracy, and compliance with legal requirements.
- Supervise staff scheduling, training, and performance evaluations to foster a motivated and competent team.
- Promote best practices in care standards to enhance service users well-being.
- Maintain compliance with all relevant regulations and standards related to supported living management.
- Foster positive relationships with residents’ families and external healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated support and communication.
Experience
- Proven experience in supported living with a strong background in care.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with supervising experience in a care home or similar setting.
- Knowledge of developing and managing care plans tailored to individual needs.
- Experience in medication administration within a regulated environment.
- Familiarity with managing teams in home care or supported living settings is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of regulatory requirements related to supported living facilities and healthcare standards.
