The Role
As a Workshop Operative, you will play an important role in the manufacture and assembly of component parts, ensuring production schedules are met while maintaining the highest standards of quality, health and safety, and housekeeping.
Key Responsibilities
- Manufacture and assemble component parts in accordance with production schedules.
- Maintain a clean, safe and organised workshop environment.
- Complete and maintain accurate paperwork relating to material components.
- Assist the production team in achieving daily and weekly production targets.
- Follow all company Health & Safety procedures, quality standards and operating procedures.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and share ideas with management.
- Participate in training and development to enhance your skills.
- Provide support across the workshop and undertake additional duties as required.
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience in a manufacturing, production or workshop environment is desirable.
- Good practical skills with the ability to assemble components accurately.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Good organisational skills and a proactive approach to maintaining a tidy work area.
- A positive attitude, reliability and a willingness to learn.
- Understanding of workplace Health & Safety practices.
Pay: £12.71-£13.50 per hour
