Glasgow Clyde College is renowned for its excellent teaching, outstanding student experience, and commitment to providing exceptional learning opportunities. We are currently seeking an experienced and enthusiastic ESOL Lecturer to join our team on a permanent, full-time basis (35 hours per week).

Role Overview:
As a Lecturer in ESOL, you will deliver courses to a diverse range of learners including adults and youths across various levels from Literacy to Advanced. The role involves preparing and delivering engaging learning materials, collaborating with colleagues to develop innovative teaching approaches, and making effective use of learning technologies. You will work closely with the Curriculum Manager to support and enhance learning and teaching within the School of ESOL.

Requirements

Educated to degree level, or equivalent, in a relevant subject area.
- Hold a CELTA, TESOL or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Ideally hold a DELTA or equivalent advanced qualification.
- At least one year's experience delivering QS (formerly SQA) ESOL qualifications within a Further Education setting.
- Experience of working with and supporting asylum seekers and refugees.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexible, positive and learner-centred approach.

Salary: £41,833 - £50,359 per annum (pro rata for temporary roles)
