We are looking for caring and dedicated Support Workers to join a package supporting a young boy with complex care needs at home and in school. This is a rewarding opportunity to provide meaningful support, helping him achieve the best possible quality of life while working as part of a supportive multidisciplinary team.
Clinical Needs
Cerebral Palsy.
Partially sighted.
Feeding difficulties requiring support in line with Speech and Language Therapy (SLT) recommendations.
Moving and handling needs supported in accordance with Occupational Therapy (OT) plans.
Requires ongoing support both at home and within the school environment.
Daily Living
Non-verbal.
Uses assistive technology to communicate.
Staff will be required to support and encourage communication using his preferred communication methods.
Requires support with daily activities and routines.
Staff will provide care and support in accordance with his individual care plans.
Support may include personal care, feeding support, mobility assistance, and promoting engagement in activities.
All moving and handling tasks must follow Occupational Therapy guidance and care plans.
Staff will be expected to safely support transfers and positioning as required.
Family Home & Environment
A 6-year-old boy living at home with his mum, dad, and three older siblings.

- Monday: 07:30 - 18:30 (11 hours)
- Tuesday: 07:30 - 15:30 (8 hours)
- Wednesday: 07:30 - 18:30 (11 hours)
- Thursday: 07:30 - 18:30 (11 hours)
- Friday: 07:30 - 15:30 (8 hours)
Term Time
- Tuesdays - Thursdays: 09:00 - 17:00
About you
- A caring, compassionate, and patient nature.
- Experience supporting children or individuals with complex needs is desirable.
- Confidence working within home and school environments.
- Good communication and documentation skills.
- Ability to follow care plans, SLT recommendations, and OT guidance.
- A flexible, reliable, and person-centred approach to support.
- Commitment to promoting independence, inclusion, and wellbeing.
