Deena's Thai Massage & Reiki Centre is an established and highly rated wellness centre serving South Wales for over five years. Following the expansion of our offices and the addition of new treatment rooms, we are looking for a passionate Sports Massage / Soft Tissue Therapist to join us.
Whether you are an experienced therapist or a newly qualified graduate looking to build your client base, we'd love to hear from you.
About the Role
You will provide high-quality sports massage and soft tissue therapy to clients with a wide range of needs, including:
- Sports injuries and rehabilitation
- Muscular aches and tension
- Postural dysfunction
- Back, neck and shoulder pain
- Recovery from exercise and training
- Injury prevention and maintenance treatments
We generate a steady flow of enquiries, giving you an excellent opportunity to build a loyal client base.
What You'll Do
- Carry out professional consultations and assessments
- Deliver safe and effective sports massage treatments
- Develop personalised treatment plans
- Provide rehabilitation and aftercare advice
- Maintain accurate client records
- Build long-term relationships with clients
- Maintain the highest standards of professionalism and hygiene
Essential Requirements
- Level 3 Sports Massage qualification (minimum)
- Professional indemnity insurance (or willingness to obtain)
- Friendly, professional manner
- Excellent communication skills
- Reliable and self-motivated
Desirable
- Level 4 Sports Massage qualification
- Experience within a clinic, gym or sports environment
- Rehabilitation exercise knowledge
- Kinesiology taping
- Dry cupping
- First Aid qualification
