Being a small home with only 17 residents, we are able to create a homely environment where strong relationships are built between the staff and residents,
Residents are familiar with the staff and staff have the ability to meet special needs and get to know the residents well.
We provide flexible shifts to meet your needs.
Duties will include:
Receiving report from Person-in-charge.
Assisting residents as necessary with personal care such as washing and dressing, assisting to get up, going to bed toileting and feeding and required.
Taking the lead on your shifts. Supervising and instructing junior staff.
Maintaining records in accordance with the homes policies and procedures.
Taking part in afternoon activities with the residents.
Administering medication
Contributing to Careplans
Communicating with residents, families and health professionals in a polite and kindly manner.
REQUIRED:
NVQ or equivalent in adult health and social care 2/3
NISCC registered (or willing to apply)
willing to complete and ACCESS NI
Experience of working in a care setting.
Experience of leading a team is desirable.
Experience of working with people with dementia is desirable.
